This is the Montpelier Open Source eGroupware demo site.

eGroupware allows different people in different locations to access a shared contacts list, calendar and filesystem. This means that you can be working productively at home (and saving on gas!) and collaborating on a project with the main office in Montpelier and sharing meeting schedules and document drafts. This model can be expanded to twenty workers around Montpelier and could include other heads offices in other towns, states or countries.

Please note that all eGroupware transactions occur over https, the same secure protocol used by banks and credit card companies for their secure transactions. Working with eGroupware is safe and secure from anywhere.

eGroupware is presently in use in Brazil, France and Germany helping companies and goverments organize and communicate effectively. Note that the Brazil installation will support 10,000 workers!


This is a demo for an imaginary Montpelier company. The company has the following workers:

Log on as one of these users, using the first name as the username and password (for example Fred, Fred) and you will be able to see eGroupware in action: plan a meeting, upload a file, scan the contacts list. Feel free to Add your contact info to the Contacts Database.
